- Develop fragrance and cosmetics packaging from A to Z—from the designer’s concept to the finished product on the shelf
- Create technically robust specifications that take efficient processing methods into account
- Collaborate with international suppliers to ensure smooth implementation
- Independently issue production approvals
- Actively help shape sustainable solutions in line with the PPWR
- Test and evaluate new packaging concepts, materials, and decorations with a focus on quality and cost
- Standardize the packaging portfolio
- Reduce costs and set trends
Requirements
- Completed degree in packaging technology, plastics engineering, product design, or a comparable field
- Ideally, more than two years of experience in packaging development—preferably in cosmetics, with a packaging user or manufacturer
- Strong design sense and technical expertise
- Knowledge of 3D modeling, SolidWorks, or comparable tools
- Knowledge of cosmetics packaging and materials such as glass, plastics, and fiber-based materials
- Experience creating technical specifications and logistics data
- Strong cost awareness and a clear “design-to-cost” mindset
- Good command of English for international communication
- Team spirit, strong communication skills, and willingness to collaborate across disciplines
