- Provide on-site and remote support for school networks and public educational institutions
- Plan and advise on IT hardware, operating systems, and network equipment
- Develop IT concepts
- Install, configure, and administer Windows server environments, including AD DS, DNS, DHCP, RDS, and file and print servers
- Administer Windows client operating systems, software, NAS systems, backup software, network infrastructures, and peripheral devices
- Analyze and resolve technical issues
- Independently develop solutions and maintain documentation
- Repair server and client hardware
- Train teaching staff in the use of the systems
Requirements
- Completed training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable qualification; career changers with professional experience in a similar field are also welcome
- Initial professional experience in a comparable role
- Very strong technical knowledge of workstation systems, including PCs, laptops, tablet PCs, and printers
- Practical experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems
- In-depth knowledge of current Microsoft client systems from Windows 10 onward
- Practical experience with application software from Office 2016 onward, ideally including Microsoft 365
- At least basic knowledge of ITIL service operation processes and experience using a ticketing system
- Ideally, solid knowledge of current Microsoft server systems from Windows Server 2016 onward and server virtualization with Proxmox or VMware
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Fluent German
- Good command of English
- Ideally, certification for the MNS+ or iServ educational network
- Category B driver's license
