- Manage ongoing financial accounting and prepare and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
- Act as the direct point of contact for clients on-site or remotely and take responsibility for your area within the project
- Analyze, optimize, and structure existing accounting processes
- Support system migrations, restructurings, and transition phases in accounting and finance
- Maintain close communication with the internal expert team and clients' management teams
- Handle a variety of assignments for mid-sized companies, corporations, and investment holding companies
Requirements
- Completed commercial training and/or further qualification as a Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant with expertise in HGB/IFRS
- A degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred
- Several years of accounting experience, preferably in larger finance departments
- Experience in tax advisory or management consulting firms
- Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems such as SAP, MS Business Central, DATEV, Net Suite, Lexware, Sage, and Addison
- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation under HGB; knowledge of IFRS
- Class B driving license for assignments requiring on-site presence
- Proficient English for international projects
- Must-have: business-fluent German, both spoken and written
- Strong IT understanding
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA
