- Overall responsibility for the Industrial Engineering department and its strategic development
- Lead the Work Preparation (WPP), Cost Value Engineering (CVE), and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams
- Optimize processes for the introduction of new products, product changes, software solutions, and manufacturing processes
- Derive production requirements from product developments
- Support development projects from the concept phase through market launch
- Transition prototypes into stable pre-series and serial production
- Responsible for bill of materials management and process mapping in ERP and PLM systems
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and develop economically viable design guidelines
- Initiate measures to sustainably reduce manufacturing costs
- Promote cross-functional improvement initiatives such as Lean Management and Six Sigma
- Establish Industrial Engineering standards across the EOS Group
Requirements
- Completed technical degree (e.g., Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering) or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the product introduction process for capital goods in an industrial environment
- Specialized knowledge of industrializing production processes with a low level of vertical integration
- Proven expertise in leading cross-functional and international teams and collaborating with internal and external partners
- Strong understanding of the business as a whole, coupled with decisiveness and confidence when dealing with complex and uncertain situations
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in German and English
