- Provide technical leadership as a Pega Lead System Architect
- Ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand application requirements
- Define IT strategies and manage infrastructure to meet organizational objectives
- Lead teams in system design, deployment, and performance optimization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and information security protocols
- Provide guidance on best practices, coding standards, and development framework
- Co-design Pega integrations with other technologies in collaboration with integration architects and cross-technology counterparts
- Coordinate with the Pega vendor on Service Requests and their resolution
- Manage Pega platform-level 508 defects and their resolution plans
- Perform design reviews and code reviews
- Ensure code quality, compliance with guardrails and best practices, and performance requirements
- Mentor and guide junior developers and system architects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science (CS) preferred
- 8+ years of experience in IT leadership/architecture, specializing in Pega
- Certified Pega Lead System Architect is required
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networking, and security standards
- Experience with Pega Infinity/Constellation UX Design System/Version 8.X
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams
- Strong interpersonal skills for dynamic, project-based roles
- Strong organizational skills
- US Citizenship required due to clearance requirement
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- Experience working with Pega eForms and content generation in PDFs is preferred
- Active VA Public Trust
- Prior experience supporting federal agencies
- Prior, successful experience working in a remote environment
