- Responsibility for the overall technical architecture of the weapon system
- Derivation, specification, and maintenance of requirements at system, subsystem, and component levels
- Ensuring technical consistency across all disciplines
- Leading technical trade-off analyses and making well-founded design decisions
- Coordinating aerodynamics, mechanics, electronics, navigation, and software into a fully integrated system
- Supporting verification and validation throughout the entire development lifecycle
Requirements
- Degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience with missile, aerospace, or similarly complex systems
- Strong experience in systems engineering and requirements management
- Knowledge of military requirements and operational scenarios
- Pragmatic, results-oriented approach with strong systems thinking
- Very good German language skills (at least C1) and good English language skills
- Citizenship of an EU or NATO member state (excluding the United States)
- Willingness to undergo a security clearance process in accordance with the German Security Clearance Act (SÜG)
- Proven successful development of hardware through flight testing is an advantage
- Experience with MBSE or SysML, as well as knowledge of relevant military and aerospace standards, is an advantage
- Knowledge of electronic warfare is an advantage
