Manager, Enterprise Architecture

• Lead the evolution and execution of the enterprise-wide architecture strategy
• Guide long-term technology roadmaps and influence technology investment and product decisions
• Ensure alignment between business strategy, architecture standards, and technology delivery
• Manage a team of Enterprise Architects across multiple architecture disciplines
• Develop organizational long-term and short-term goals, objectives, and completion monitoring
• Provide architectural leadership, guidance, and support for technology teams
• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of enterprise architecture technology strategies
• Define the enterprise architecture maturity roadmap and governance practices
• Partner with stakeholders to implement architecture governance frameworks and improve processes
• Ensure solution compliance with technology assurance standards and review deliverables for accuracy and quality
• Manage team workload and communicate status, risks, mitigation, and contingency planning to senior leadership
• Contribute to SDLC procedures supporting enterprise architecture controls and metrics
• Develop and report business-relevant metrics for the enterprise architecture program
• Identify and solve project issues and oversee multiple project development life cycles from an enterprise architecture perspective
• Collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams in a matrix environment to obtain and synthesize requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience is required
• Equivalent years of experience are determined as one year of technical experience for every year of college
• 7 years of experience in IT Architecture or related field required
• 5 years of experience leading teams of technical resources in diverse disciplines is required
• Experience with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, etc.
• Ability to lead and manage team of enterprise architects and consultants
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to explain and enforce architecture standards
• Ability to apply security concepts and controls to adapt to organizations' needs and goals
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to perform non-routine analytical tasks
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and business acumen to communicate details about enterprise architecture, policies, and practices to technical and nontechnical colleagues
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to act as a mentor
• Agile mindset and awareness and understanding of Agile methodologies
