  • Lead the public-facing Account Manager and Member Recruitment Coordinator team in an assigned regional district

  • Enable Account Managers to achieve member recruitment objectives through lead generation and conversion, strategic partnerships, account retention initiatives, and sustainable year-over-year results

  • Guide day-to-day recruitment operations and event execution through Member Recruitment Coordinators

  • Work with Programs & Partnerships, Marketing, and Member Engagement & Experience

  • Position the NMDP mission for access across territories and account types and develop understanding of local regional markets

  • Lead regional initiatives that promote efficiency, superior service to external partners and volunteers, and educated, committed, responsive donors

  • Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual registry enrollment goals

  • Guide strategic business plans for territories and create access to event sponsors, volunteers, and prospective members

  • Guide data-driven account planning and provide territory-specific business recommendations

  • Review the Lead > Opportunity > Event pipeline and recruitment activity before and after events

  • Coach Account Managers and Member Recruitment Coordinators, identify skill gaps, and coordinate training and professional development

  • Oversee successful recruitment event execution and volunteer staffing

  • Implement operational decisions and prioritize alignment among territory partners

  • Educate prospective donors about the NMDP mission and the two ways to donate

  • Respond to prospective donor questions, issues, and concerns during registration

  • Ensure compliance with operating manuals, brand standards, business processes, swab shipment, sample reconciliation, and Salesforce task management

  • Escalate regional district priorities to the Director, Member Recruitment

  • Build collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders and drive cross-organizational alignment

  • Manage travel and event expense resources responsibly

  • Support volunteer recruitment, engagement, retention, training compliance, hour tracking, and Volunteer Portal opportunities

  • Support volunteer recognition and appreciation activities


Requirements



  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent combination of formal education and experience

  • Equivalent experience and/or education related to the minimum experience requirement may be substituted for the degree

  • 2+ years of experience leading full-time employees

  • 3+ years of experience in business operations leadership

  • Minimum 5 years subject matter expertise in strategic sales leadership

  • Experience in community engagement and account cultivation with a focus on retention where defined goals or targets are required

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing key initiatives

  • Expert use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce, and the Internet

  • Proficient use of reporting and project management tools such as Looker and Asana

  • Knowledge of sales and marketing, volunteer management, event planning and execution, managing a dispersed workforce, project management, and collaboration and consensus-building strategies

  • Ability to manage direct-report performance through coaching according to key performance indicators

  • Ability to guide strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving for diverse territories and accounts

  • Ability to navigate college and university systems

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and leverage insights

  • Ability to use organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects

  • Ability to lead through change, resolve conflict, and maintain alignment

  • Must be willing to travel within the region as needed (~25%), occasionally working evenings/weekends

  • Occasional national travel, 2-3 trips per year

  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
