  • Provide leadership, direction, and training for Vet Services education matters across the department, NSC/SSC, and field
  • Participate in long-term business planning to grow the core services business
  • Create high-impact, guest- and pet-focused learning curricula with practical hands-on learning, classroom presentations, and digital assets
  • Lead in-person training and ensure successful execution of online training courses for new and existing Vet Services partners
  • Track onboarding training progress and completion for Vet Services roles
  • Partner with Talent Development and external vendors to develop learning assets and provide content, feedback, and business signoff
  • Collaborate with NSC organizations to drive key initiatives through successful, on-time field deployment
  • Analyze people performance, sales, and expenses to identify opportunities where learning solutions may help
  • Participate in field clinics to understand partner and guest experiences and identify best practices and training opportunities
  • Co-create the long-term learning strategy and roadmap and prioritize learning opportunities
  • Serve as subject-matter expert for learning deliverables and align programs across organizational functions and operational units
  • Create and maintain reporting and analysis for Vet Services training and education
  • Develop reports analyzing productivity and retention by store, district, zone, region, and company
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, quality, safety, and product-specific requirements
  • Collaborate with Field Leadership and HR to create consistent onboarding and continuing training programs across regions
  • Provide oversight and direction for partner training and education
  • Ensure Vet Services team members remain current on products, trainings, and programs and have required training materials

Requirements

  • College degree in a related field and 5 years of equivalent or relevant training and education experience
  • Licensed or Registered Veterinary Technician certification preferred
  • Strong strategic business skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
  • Extensive experience in a high sales and service training environment
  • Prior experience leading organizational change and championing a service culture
  • Knowledge of training documentation systems/methods
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories, including assessments and competency-based training
  • Ability to meet deadlines and fact-check information
  • Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to drive/facilitate decisions
  • Ability to work remotely
