- Conduct research and technological development of security solutions, particularly for aviation and ground systems
- Develop, analyze, and test tools and equipment for detecting and mitigating cyberattacks over communications links and networks
- Communicate research findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Support the transfer of technologies into market-ready products
Requirements
- University degree in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
- A PhD is desirable
- Interest in cybersecurity and its application to aircraft and ground systems
- Ability to organize and prioritize your own work and apply research methods
- Experience with and knowledge of vehicle communications and networks
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English are required
- Willingness to identify compliance risks and act with integrity
