- Lead the end-to-end process of revenue recognition for software licenses, Saa S, and professional services, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP for 20 countries
- Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for revenue and related accounts
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements under IFRS and HGB
- Coordinate and consolidate group reporting activities
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation
- Support internal and external audits as a key contact for revenue and reporting topics
- Improve financial systems and processes, focusing on automation, efficiency, and scalability in a cloud-first environment
- Advise the business on revenue and financial reporting topics
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a big plus
- 6+ years of experience in accounting, ideally in the software or professional services space
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and HGB
- Strong experience in financial statement preparation, group reporting, and consolidation
- Experience with SAP ERP, preferably S/4 HANA
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confidence to communicate complex topics clearly
- Fluent in English and German
