- Continuously develop the IT infrastructure and diverse systems landscape
- Operate and further develop the central IT infrastructure, technical platforms, and applications
- Administer and further develop virtualization, server, and infrastructure environments
- Operate and further develop the new AI platform
- Analyze and assess vulnerabilities, and coordinate and track required security measures
- Monitor and oversee systems, and further develop existing solutions
- Manage configuration management and the CMDB, and maintain and enhance technical documentation
- Plan and carry out maintenance, installation, and configuration activities
- Handle complex technical tickets and incidents, analyze technical issues, and implement sustainable resolutions
- Support technical architectures and solution concepts, and assess their technical feasibility and operational viability
- Serve as a technical interface between IT Operations, Development, business departments, and Architecture
- Support new solutions from conception through stable and secure production operation
- Contribute to infrastructure, security, architecture, and automation projects
- Identify and implement opportunities for technical optimization and automation
- Participate in the IT on-call service after completing the required training
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience operating and further developing complex IT infrastructures
- Strong knowledge of server, virtualization, and platform environments
- Experience with monitoring, configuration management, and CMDBs
- Experience in IT security, particularly vulnerability management, is desirable
- Experience analyzing and sustainably resolving complex technical incidents
- Expertise in planning and further developing IT architectures
- Experience with automation and introducing new technologies
- Analytical, structured, and independent approach to work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty after completing the required training
- C1-level German language skills are mandatory
