  • Engage healthcare providers through in-person, virtual, and digital tools
  • Provide expertise on products and their approved conditions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HCP customers
  • Direct customers to Customer Service Specialists and other colleagues as needed
  • Ensure customer requests are met and solicit feedback on engagement quality
  • Facilitate speaker programs
  • Organize local provider groups for discussions with local and regional leaders
  • Elevate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead
  • Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, Patient Support, and ecosystem teams
  • Adjust targeting and call point plans compliantly
  • Use customer insights to inform local strategy and business goals
  • Conduct proactive outreach on product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidance
  • Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement procedures
  • Analyze competitive data and business reports to identify opportunities
  • Deliver balanced office calls and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references
  • Build relationships with office and practice personnel to support patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience
  • Prior experience in CNS, psychiatry, or ADHD preferred
  • Experience launching a new product or new indication preferred
  • Must reside within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory
  • Previous cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences or a related industry
  • 4 or more years of experience working in a sales role with HCPs, ideally representing multiple products
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation
  • Proven track record in coaching, training, and mentoring peers or others
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and understanding of regulatory standards
  • Ability to execute business activities in compliance with company policies and guidance
  • Ability to assimilate and communicate complex clinical and product information
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Overnight travel may be required depending on territory geography
  • Knowledge of territory analysis, business planning, sales data, promotional budgets, payer guidelines, and reimbursement procedures
  • Ability to use approved promotional materials and technical references
  • Competent product knowledge of own product and competition
