- Provide technical expertise to Sales nationwide during business development and proposal efforts
- Interpret project specifications and guide estimation and design teams
- Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and technical documentation
- Develop scalable, standards-compliant power system architectures
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and operational goals
- Evaluate and select components using technical and commercial criteria
- Recommend design optimizations and alternative solutions
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams
- Refine solutions based on customer and stakeholder feedback
- Represent IEM at industry events and promote technical solutions
- Mentor teams and support training initiatives
- Influence technical and commercial strategies to differentiate IEM solutions
- Advocate for technology integration and digital transformation
- Report to the Power Solutions Architect Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years in power system architecture
- Experience working with an electrical power-distribution OEM
- Expertise in UL and IEEE standards and industry practices
- Data-center and colocation power-distribution experience, including high-availability distribution architectures
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Power equipment sales or commercial collaboration experience
- Innovation leadership and vendor engagement
- Must be located in the United States
- Willingness to travel
