  • Support solution design for pursuits, including measure strategies, program structure, budgets, and pricing
  • Translate market, regulatory, and client needs into tailored program designs
  • Develop client-, geography-, or location-specific solution specifications aligned with delivery capabilities and technical requirements
  • Contribute to compelling, defensible proposals
  • Support continuity between proposal assumptions and program execution during handoff to Program Delivery
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and operationally aligned
  • Finalize solution specifications and incorporate value propositions into RFP responses or Statements of Work
  • Collaborate with business development, delivery, engineering, product, IT, and marketing teams
  • Align stakeholders around unified solution strategies and navigate competing priorities
  • Apply and refine solution design methodologies, frameworks, and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency in program design
  • Contribute to training materials and knowledge-sharing initiatives
  • Maintain working knowledge of DSM, electrification, and distributed energy resource programs
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies
  • Support occasional client presentations
  • Support the direction of solutions and service offerings with Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams
  • Identify gaps in current offerings aligned with market demand
  • Contribute to revenue growth through solution development and competitive positioning
  • Support pricing strategies, cost modeling, and financial analyses

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in energy efficiency, demand-side management, electrification, or related fields
  • Demonstrated success supporting the design and delivery of energy programs or solutions
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and data interpretation skills
  • Experience with Excel, PowerBI or similar tools
  • Familiarity with regulated utility environments, filings, and evaluation frameworks
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver results under tight timelines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
  • Experience supporting program offerings across multiple markets (preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in process design, workflow mapping, and operational optimization (preferred)
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics or AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes (preferred)
  • Background in engineering, economics, environmental science, DSM programming or related analytical or DSM-based disciplines (preferred)
  • If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship or support
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks

Demonstrates expertise in solution design for energy efficiency and demand-side management, with strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop tailored program specifications and support effective proposal development.
