- Lead survey activities during proposal, design, and construction stages of assigned projects
- Manage survey scope according to technical contracts
- Assist in developing change orders
- Maintain project schedules
- Maintain quality and responsiveness to meet internal and external client requirements
- Oversee survey activities of team members
- Review project documents, drawings, calculations, and specifications
- Assume responsible charge
- Provide input on strategic direction and technical services oversight
- Coach, train, and develop survey staff
- Partner with business units and sales teams to promote revenue growth and expand services
- Support proposal efforts by developing, providing resources, and reviewing proposals
- Collaborate with the Proposal Development Team, Project Management group, and other departments
- Maintain positive relationships with existing clients
Requirements
- A PLS license in one or more of the following states—Texas (RPLS), Wyoming, Kansas, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, or North Dakota is required
- Must be analytical, self-motivated, and able to work in high-pressure situations while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, public, and external agencies
- Ability to manage multiple projects with clear expectations and timeliness
- Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills
- High level of initiative and ability to explore new opportunities while understanding organizational risk
- Proven experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Additional software knowledge depending on specialty
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time
- Openness to innovation and ability to apply evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement
