• Define the strategic vision for the product team
• Create product roadmaps aligned with Civica’s strategic goals
• Lead other product managers
• Collaborate with product design, user research, engineering, commercial, marketing, and customer success teams
• Develop and maintain understanding of customer needs, market trends, and business goals
• Define and refine the product roadmap
• Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and market research
• Define and prioritise product requirements for engineering
• Oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to launch
• Ensure timely delivery of product features and releases
• Plan and execute product launches with the Product Marketing team
• Develop launch plans, positioning, and messaging
• Analyse product performance data and metrics

Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant product management experience in a modern software or product-led organisation
- Strong analytical skills to identify market opportunities and solve complex product-related issues
- Ability to navigate and address product lifecycle management complexities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand customer needs, pain points, and motivations
- Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret data for product decisions
- Ability to prioritise features, requirements, and tasks based on customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility
- Experience building and executing product roadmaps and strategies aligned with customer needs and company goals
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and business priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- Ability to communicate product vision, value, and benefits to stakeholders
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams
- Experience with market research, competitive analysis, and market trend analysis
- Familiarity with UX design principles and human-centred design methodologies
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS
