  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a large-scale AI data center campus from pre-construction through commissioning and turnover
  • Conduct constructability reviews, value engineering, design coordination, and subcontractor procurement
  • Develop construction execution plans, phasing strategies, logistics plans, site layouts, and temporary facility requirements
  • Establish project procedures for document control, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reporting
  • Coordinate mobilization, site access, temporary utilities, trailers, laydown areas, security, and safety infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain detailed CPM schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Conduct weekly schedule meetings, track progress and variances, and implement recovery strategies
  • Coordinate concurrent data hall, mechanical/electrical infrastructure, central utility plant, and exterior site development work
  • Monitor long-lead procurement for generators, switchgear, UPS systems, cooling units, and IT infrastructure
  • Manage budget, committed costs, expenditures, forecasts, GMP/lump-sum values, pay applications, retainage, and change orders
  • Prepare monthly cost reports, cash-flow projections, contingency tracking, and earned-value metrics
  • Implement quality management plans, manage RFIs and submittals, and coordinate inspections and materials testing
  • Oversee commissioning support, quality walks, punch lists, deficiency tracking, and turnover readiness
  • Enforce OSHA, company, client, building, fire, environmental, stormwater, and jurisdictional requirements
  • Manage permits, inspections, temporary certificates of occupancy, and final certificates of occupancy
  • Coordinate 30+ subcontractors and specialty trade contractors across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, fire protection, and low-voltage disciplines
  • Lead OAC, subcontractor coordination, and MEP coordination meetings
  • Serve as primary on-site contact for clients, designers, commissioning agents, and operations personnel
  • Coordinate field conflicts, design discrepancies, material deliveries, equipment staging, and crane operations
  • Oversee data center infrastructure including raised floors, aisle containment, cable trays, bus ducts, grounding, critical power, cooling, BMS, fire detection, and suppression systems
  • Coordinate phased turnover of data halls and supporting infrastructure
  • Maintain project documentation including logs, minutes, photos, inspections, test reports, and correspondence in the PMIS
  • Manage closeout documentation, as-builts, O&M manuals, warranties, lien waivers, retainage release, and completion certifications
  • Prepare executive progress reports and coordinate lessons learned
  • Facilitate owner training, warranty coordination, and post-occupancy support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of progressive project management experience in commercial construction
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at $500M+ from pre-construction through closeout
  • Direct accountability for schedule, budget, quality, and safety outcomes
  • Experience with design-build, CM-at-Risk, or GMP contract delivery methods on fast-track construction projects
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required
  • Strong preference for data center, mission-critical facility, or heavy MEP construction experience
  • Familiarity with Tier III/IV data center design standards and ASHRAE data center cooling guidelines preferred
  • Experience managing field engineers, project engineers, administrative staff, and large subcontractor workforces
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven negotiation skills for subcontract scoping, change order resolution, and conflict management
  • Ability to assess field conditions, evaluate alternatives, make decisions under pressure, and communicate resolutions
  • PMP, LEED AP/Green Associate, and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, BIM 360, or equivalent tools
  • Primavera P6 certification or advanced P6 training preferred
  • Experience with schedule risk and diagnostic tools such as Acumen Fuse or Deltek Acumen preferred
  • Experience with earned value management and cost-schedule integration preferred
  • Must be located near a major airport
  • Must possess a valid REAL ID or acceptable alternative such as a passport for business travel
