- Manage high-voltage service projects from order handover through execution, delivery confirmation, and invoicing
- Coordinate between sales, field operations, and customers
- Oversee project documentation, scheduling, and resource alignment
- Support installation activities for large GIS substations
- Coordinate material delivery, field service timelines, and contractor activities
- Maintain customer communication regarding progress, scheduling, and closeout requirements
- Address project clarifications and support issue resolution across departments
- Ensure project documentation and financial processes are completed
- Verify order accuracy and support order handoff with technical sales
- Maintain and update service order documentation in SAP
- Coordinate project transitions to field service operations and confirm resource availability
- Plan and sequence GIS substation installation activities, including equipment delivery, erection, and testing
- Direct on-site execution across field crews, contractors, and technical advisors through installation and energization
- Monitor material delivery schedules and coordinate shipments
- Manage invoicing, accounts receivable follow-up, and customer dispute resolution
- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Requirements
- Must already have work authorization permitting work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience
- Experience with installation and commissioning of large GIS substation projects, including multi-bay layouts, gas handling, and high-voltage field testing
- Knowledge of high-voltage products, services, and their application
- Experience with SAP, including Fiori and Cockpit modules
- Familiarity with AI-supported project management tools
- Willingness to travel on occasion
