- Interpret requirements and write quality control and user acceptance test plans
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies
- Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met
- Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products
- Write, implement, and report the status of system test cases
- Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports
- Serve as a subject matter specialist supporting user requirements for complex to highly complex software/hardware applications
- Direct and/or participate in risk management assessments and software/hardware development, emphasizing user requirements analysis, test design, and test tool selection
- Support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as a Quality Analyst
Requirements
- At least 5 years of current relevant experience
- Java application testing
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and FitNesse
- Strong background in performance testing using JMeter/LoadRunner
- Experience with automated testing processes, 508 accessibility testing, functional testing, integration testing, full regression testing, and cybersecurity testing
- Basic understanding of Java coding
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering, engineering, or computer science
- US Citizenship
- Good communication
- Appian application testing
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Office suite
