- Lead the regional finance function across the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland
- Take responsibility for regional financial accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
- Review monthly accounts and supervise accounting operations with the Accounting Shared Service Center
- Provide performance analysis and insights with the FP&A team
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and declarations
- Lead annual regional financial audits and support the Group audit process
- Maintain and improve internal controls aligned with Group policies and procedures
- Oversee cash collection activities and accounts receivable performance
- Act as a strategic finance partner to regional leadership teams
- Align regional financial strategies with Group objectives
- Support the Group CFO with financial data, analysis, reporting, and financial risk mitigation
- Participate in group-wide projects and ad hoc assignments
- Identify opportunities for growth, cost efficiency, and process optimization
- Collaborate with local operational teams and the Accounting Shared Service Center
- Represent finance with auditors, tax authorities, and banking institutions
- Provide financial insights to local leadership teams
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
- Assess and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting
- Foster accountability, continuous improvement, and high ethical standards
- Uphold company cultural values while supporting team development and leadership growth
Requirements
- More than 8 years of professional experience
- More than 8 years of experience in a similar position in a medium/large private or multinational company
- Experience with regional or multi-country responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- English proficiency (mandatory)
- Local language proficiency
- Strong people leadership ability
- Accounting processes knowledge
- Financial reporting experience
- Audit support experience
- High level of business acumen and strategic thinking
- Change management experience
- Proficiency with MS Office
- SAP FI proficiency ideally
