- Own development of Afresh's high-revenue, flagship AI ordering product
- Define the architectural roadmap for next-generation systems
- Design, build, and deploy highly scalable and robust APIs
- Make critical architectural decisions shaping the platform
- Partner with Product, Account Management, and peer engineering teams to deliver integrated client solutions
- Contribute to the vision of the next-generation Ordering product
- Support the current iPad solution
- Enforce testing and release best practices to maintain system reliability
- Lead projects through the full development lifecycle from conception to launch
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
- Participate in team ceremonies, engineering swarms, and code reviews
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Strong desire to learn and master new technologies
- Ability to lead and drive projects through the entire development lifecycle, from conception to launch, with a high degree of autonomy
- Readiness to mentor junior engineers
- Curiosity about complex systems and the intricate business domain
- Strong team participation, including team ceremonies, engineering swarms, and timely, constructive code reviews
- Experience with Agile software delivery cycle (nice to have)
- Experience using modern AI-powered development tools (nice to have)
- Experience with TypeScript and cloud technologies, specifically Azure (nice to have)
