- Provide technical leadership to the Data Engineering team, guiding technical decisions and ensuring high-quality deliveries
- Define and evolve the data architecture of the solution
- Design strategies for data ingestion, integration, and transformation from multiple sources
- Lead the migration of data from SharePoint to SQL Server
- Define and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold)
- Design transactional and analytical layers to consolidate data across different Supply Chain domains
- Lead the development and evolution of semantic models and Power BI solutions
- Ensure best practices for data quality, performance, governance, and scalability
- Work directly with the client to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Act as a bridge between business, architecture, data, and development teams
- Provide technical guidance to Data Developers and contribute to the team's technical growth
- Centralize and transform distributed Supply Chain data into a reliable, scalable data platform supporting business operations and key performance indicators
Requirements
- Solid experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture
- Proven experience providing technical leadership for data teams
- Strong experience designing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and multi-source data integrations
- Knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold)
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and SQL
- Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering and processing
- Practical experience with Databricks and Azure
- Knowledge of data modeling and semantic models
- Experience with Power BI
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced English proficiency for communication in a corporate and international environment
- Spanish proficiency is a nice-to-have
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate, is a nice-to-have
- Knowledge of SAP and SAP data integration is a nice-to-have
- Experience or knowledge of Supply Chain processes is a nice-to-have
