Senior Database/ETL Engineer

• Assist the end-to-end development, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-level ETL processes using DataStage for HRC application structures




• Design complex data mapping and transformation logic and ensure data integrity across disparate sources in the Army's data warehouse environment




• Provide Cyber and IA database systems maintenance




• Ensure ETL jobs comply with security and Information Assurance protocols




• Review and provide technical solutions for data projects across the development lifecycle, from initial ingestion to report generation




• Implement and manage job scheduling and monitoring tools for 24/7 data-pipeline reliability




• Produce technical documentation, including Visio data-flow diagrams, mapping specifications, and system architecture briefs




• Support modernization of complex data pipelines for the US Army Human Resources Command

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance




• Active CompTIA Security+ / IAT level II certification




• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree




• 5-7 years of experience




• Minimum of three (3) years of ETL experience working with Army Human Resource Command data




• Experience with on-premises or cloud environments using PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL databases




• Knowledge of IBM InfoSphere DataStage and ETL best practices




• Must be professionally certified as Technical Level III (IAT Level III) as defined by DoDI 8570.01-M




• Proven track record in data warehousing, XML/HTML, and open-source development environments




• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills




• Must be a US citizen
