- • Design, develop, and maintain core platform components and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles
- • Build and operate self-service tools and workflows for application deployment, monitoring, logging, and scaling
- • Implement and manage containerization technologies and orchestration platforms
- • Develop and maintain efficient, secure, and scalable CI/CD pipelines
- • Implement and enforce platform security best practices and integrate security tools
- • Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
- • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues with development teams
- • Contribute to platform architecture and roadmap evolution
- • Stay current with platform engineering and cloud-native development trends
- • Balance competing tasks in a rapidly changing environment
- • Participate in on-call rotation during day PST hours
- • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to advance the platform vision
Requirements
- Strong experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider; GCP or AWS preferred
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, storage, databases, and related ecosystem components
- Experience with Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, and Helm
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, or Jenkins
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby
- Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Containerization experience required
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or Datadog
- Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments
- Strong collaboration, documentation, and knowledge-sharing skillsAbility to work independently, be resourceful, and seek support when needed
- Proactive mindset, willingness to take ownership, and commitment to continuous self-development
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation during day PST hours
