  • Serve as NFF's senior leader for corporate fundraising and engagement
  • Develop, own, and execute a comprehensive national corporate strategy
  • Achieve annual and multi-year corporate revenue targets and build a diversified, sustainable corporate funding portfolio
  • Establish priorities for corporate acquisition, retention, growth, and long-term partnership development
  • Build and actively manage a robust corporate prospect pipeline with forecasting, portfolio management, moves management, and performance metrics
  • Personally cultivate, solicit, negotiate, grow, and steward approximately 30–50 high-potential corporate partners and prospects
  • Develop trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders across relevant business functions
  • Lead development and negotiation of complex, high-value corporate partnerships
  • Identify and launch innovative partnership models across philanthropy, sustainability, ESG, cause marketing, sponsorships, employee engagement, matching gifts, consumer activation, and other models
  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to extend NFF's reach, strengthen brand visibility, engage new audiences, and create mutual value
  • Partner with Conservation, regional teams, and organizational leaders to identify fundable opportunities and translate field work into corporate partnerships
  • Establish and apply partnership criteria and due diligence practices
  • Lead, coach, and develop a growing national Corporate Partnerships team
  • Develop organizational structure, staffing model, systems, and performance framework to scale the corporate program
  • Provide strategic leadership and support to regional conservation and fundraising teams
  • Engage executive leadership, Board members, Ambassador Council members, and organizational champions to advance corporate opportunities
  • Lead development of proposals, sponsorship packages, presentations, reports, and cause-marketing initiatives
  • Oversee corporate grant applications, agreements, reporting, compliance, recognition, and stewardship
  • Partner with Advancement Operations on pipeline management, revenue forecasting, prospect tracking, reporting, and performance measurement
  • Monitor trends in corporate philanthropy, sustainability, ESG, water stewardship, nature-based solutions, corporate responsibility, cause marketing, sponsorships, and engagement
  • Represent NFF externally with corporate executives, industry leaders, conferences, convenings, and strategic audiences
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Passion for conservation and public lands
  • Knowledge of the conservation, environmental, sustainability, or nonprofit sectors preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, sponsorship sales, or related fields
  • Demonstrated record of securing and growing significant revenue-generating partnerships
  • Experience developing and executing partnership and fundraising strategies that drive measurable revenue growth and organizational impact
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success engaging and influencing senior corporate leaders and stakeholders
  • Strong project management, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, CRM platforms, and fundraising or donor management systems
  • Proven success securing and managing corporate partnerships, shared value initiatives, ESG programs, or corporate philanthropy investments that support mission-driven outcomes
  • Strong commitment to NFF's mission and ability to articulate its impact to corporate partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities to expand partnerships, increase revenue, and advance organizational priorities
  • Ability to lead with initiative, accountability, and sound judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on long-term goals and results
  • Ability to build and sustain productive relationships with corporate leaders, board members, funders, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to represent NFF with professionalism, credibility, and executive presence
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to staff

  • Willingness to travel regularly (35-55%), including occasional evening and weekend commitments
  • Residence in the United States, flexible throughout the lower 48 states
  • Proximity to a major airport
  • Reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace
