- Support the definition and execution of quality testing strategies for software development projects.
- Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases and scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure the quality of deliverables.
- Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in collaboration with development teams.
- Participate in the early stages of projects by reviewing requirements and documentation to ensure quality from the beginning of development (Shift Left Testing).
- Prepare and review test plans, test cases, and test result reports.
- Analyze test results and present recommendations for improving system quality.
- Partner with Development, Product, and Operations teams to ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level professionals by sharing software quality best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Assurance (QA) processes, methodologies, and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Solid experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA).
- Experience designing, executing, and managing manual and automated tests.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
- Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.
- Experience preparing test plans, test cases, and test result reports.
- Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools.
- Analytical skills to identify risks, failures, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Technical English preferred.
- Spanish is a plus.
- Knowledge of Shift Left Testing practices preferred.
- Experience with test automation preferred.
- Experience mentoring and developing QA professionals preferred.
- Experience working on software development projects in Agile environments preferred.
- Certifications related to Software Quality, Testing, or Agile Processes preferred.
