- Design, implement, and manage observability solutions to monitor the health and performance of systems and applications
- Create and manage dashboards, alerts, and reports providing actionable insights into system behavior and performance
- Use Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, PRTG, or similar tools to build comprehensive observability platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to observability and monitoring
- Develop and maintain documentation, best practices, and standards for observability solutions
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate observability practices into the CI/CD pipeline
- Promote observability best practices and ensure consistent adoption across the organization
- Evaluate and implement new observability tools and technologies
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
Requirements
- Completed degree: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3 years of experience in modern observability, with a focus on cloud technologies and automation tools
- Experience working as a Senior Observability Engineer
- Proven experience designing and implementing observability solutions using open standards
- Proficiency with Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, and/or PRTG
- Strong knowledge of cloud hypervisors, specifically Azure
- Previous software development experience is highly valued
- Experience with other monitoring and observability tools
- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms and services
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Understanding of security best practices applied to observability
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies
- Advanced or fluent English (preferred)
