- Design, build, and maintain software across AWS, MongoDB, React, Symfony, and Node.js
- Own features end-to-end, from technical design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Convert rapid AI prototypes built in Claude, Codex, and Figma Make into secure, production-grade systems
- Establish repeatable governance patterns and engineering handoffs so prototype speed translates into launch speed
- Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic workflows to increase delivery throughput and code quality
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and central Engineering to set high standards for architecture, testing, and security
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience shipping production-grade applications
- Strong expertise in system design, data modeling, API architecture, and debugging distributed systems
- Hands-on proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, AWS, and modern databases
- Daily use of AI development tools, including Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot, with judgment to review and refine output
- Proven track record of defining standards, managing early-stage ambiguity, and communicating with non-technical stakeholders
- Proven 0-to-1 experience taking early product concepts to launch with paying customers
- Direct experience hardening prototype builds into production systems without requiring total rewrites
- Hands-on experience building AI-enabled product features, including LLM integrations, embeddings, and prompt/agent design
- Experience working with Symfony or modern PHP frameworks alongside a modern JavaScript ecosystem
- Prior experience as the foundational or first engineer embedded on a product team
