  • Serve as the subject matter expert for retirement benefits and HCMS systems
  • Resolve escalated retirement benefits inquiries through investigation and coordination with internal and external partners
  • Assist retirement benefits analysts in researching and troubleshooting retirement plan issues
  • Work with HRIS and IT to identify root causes and update the HCMS benefits module and processes
  • Liaise between HRIS, IT, and the retirement team
  • Create audit-report processes to improve retirement benefits processing efficiency
  • Educate the retirement team on the HCMS benefits module and standard operating procedures
  • Create and review bi-weekly payroll files, quarterly files, and annual compliance files, including NDT files
  • Perform funding reconciliation and ensure timely and accurate retirement benefits processing
  • Test and implement HCMS benefits-module changes related to programming, plan changes, and regulatory mandates
  • Collaborate with retirement plan vendors to ensure compliance and efficient administration
  • Analyze data and provide evidence-based process-improvement recommendations
  • Create and document standard operating procedures, processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and program enhancements
  • Leverage technology tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years in Benefits Administration and HCMS administration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working with an Enterprise Human Capital Management System
  • Skilled in process management
  • Ability to listen actively, communicate clearly and empathetically, take responsibility, adapt, and exercise self-control under pressure
  • Working knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, Social Security, and DOL requirements
  • Experience working with outsourced benefits administration vendors
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.; frequent sitting/standing and keyboard use
