- Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of security platforms and services
- Own and evolve Terraform Infrastructure as Code standards and GitHub Actions CI/CD practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship through design reviews, code reviews, and secure engineering guidance
- Drive integration, tuning, and lifecycle management of core security tooling
- Partner with Incident Response, Threat Engineering, and GRC to translate threats, incidents, and compliance requirements into engineering solutions and roadmap priorities
- Champion AI-assisted engineering practices to improve velocity, code quality, and test coverage
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for security tooling incidents
- Drive resilience improvements through capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and runbook development
- Represent Security Engineering in architecture reviews and cross-functional technical forums
- Deliver production-ready systems on time and within budget while upholding engineering and security standards
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience in security engineering or a related field, including designing and operating cloud-native security platforms at production scale
- Security architecture experience in AWS, OCI, or Aliyun, including multi-account environments and cross-region/CN considerations
- Advanced proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices
- Experience designing and maintaining secure, reliable CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, PAM, WAF, SOAR, and vulnerability management
- Track record mentoring engineers and leading technical design decisions
- Advanced scripting and software development skills, such as Python
- Experience building and operating production services, APIs, and cronjobs on Kubernetes/EKS
- Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code
- Experience with Agile and/or DevOps frameworks
- Experience driving improvements to team process and delivery practices
