- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, DevOps, and QA to design and develop a scalable microservices platform
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality, reusable, and testable code
- Build reusable frameworks
- Work with DevOps and other teams to ensure the platform is highly available, scalable, and fault tolerant
- Handle operational issues with little or no oversight
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to standards, patterns, and architecture principles
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides for the platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of Object-Oriented Development experience
- Deep expertise in building microservices architectures on the JVM platform
- Experience with Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring JDBC
- 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Tekton, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- 2+ years of applying clean code principles, including TDD/BDD, Extreme Programming, self-documenting code, continuous refactoring, and Unit, Integration, and Acceptance testing
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Preferred/added experience: Apache Solr or Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, GCP or AWS, Python data pipelines, LLM applications, ADK, Gemini models, Arize AI, eCommerce Search and Discovery, and AI-assisted development tools
