Responsibilities
- Lead practical R&D initiatives in Generative AI (Gen AI), focusing on real-world use cases and measurable impact.
- Build and ship full-stack features using Fast API, Angular, and AWS, owning the process from commit to production.
- Make key technical decisions, drive architectural discussions, and mentor other engineers through code reviews and system design.
Qualifications
- Proactive in leveraging Generative AI tools to improve development workflows with measurable impact (not just buzzwords).
- Strong interest in finance, markets, or investing (e. g., equities, ETFs) with a willingness to develop domain expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Type Script, with 5+ years of experience delivering production software.
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (ideally AWS).
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain concepts and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong sense of ownership, demonstrating initiative, independence, and the ability to carry work from problem to solution.
- Nice to have: Experience with microservices architecture.
