- Set the tone, look, and feel of Bleacher Report’s TikTok channel
- Monitor news and social media to identify trending sports and relevant pop culture
- Write timely, clean, stylized hooks aligned with the social voice of the accounts
- Make swift editorial responses and decisions, often without supervisor oversight
- Cover sports events and live shows as they happen, including nights and weekends
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of TikTok / Reels/ YT Shorts style editing and curation
- Experience growing following and engagement on TikTok
- Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram and YouTube/Shorts
- Passionate sports fan
- Well-versed in multiple sports, with an emphasis on NBA and NFL
- Keen awareness of Bleacher Report’s voice and reactions across multiple platforms
- Understanding of trends, memes, viral content, and popular culture
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Strong video editing, copywriting, and communication skills
- Editing skills/experience required; keen eye for punctuation and grammar
- Content recognition, including highlights and UGC
- Experienced highlight editing
- 1–2 years of professional experience preferred
- Bonus skills: Adobe Premiere, Facebook Creator Studio, ClipPro
