- Develop information systems by studying operations, designing, developing, and installing software solutions
- Support and develop the software team
- Work with leadership to define software requirements
- Lead operational and technical projects
- Design, build, and maintain small-to-medium features and services using object-oriented design principles
- Own technical implementation from design through deployment with limited oversight
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, accelerate debugging, and support test creation

Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience in an object-oriented language (PHP preferred)
- Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
- Experience working in a Linux-based development environment
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3
- Solid experience with relational databases and SQL/MySQL
- Working understanding of system architecture concepts, debugging strategies, and observability fundamentals (logs, metrics, tracing)
- Demonstrated commitment to code quality, testing, and maintainable design
- Practical experience using or strong interest in AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, or documentation responsibly
- Experience with Docker or containerized environments (nice to have)
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms (nice to have)
- Experience using AI to improve engineering workflows (nice to have)
