Requirements
- Experience, understanding and ability to diagnose issues with Compile, Assembly and LinkEdit processes for z/OS
- Experience developing mainframe applications using COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, Java, and EZT for z/OS
- Experience with IBM CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, Liberty and z/OS Connect
- Experience with z/OS source control platforms and processes, such as Panvalet, Endevor, and SCLM
- Knowledge of IBM zEnterprise Hybrid Computing offerings, including zLinux, zCX, Db2 and IDAA
- Knowledge of IBM Dependency Based Build and its components, including Groovy or YAML
- Experience using the z/OS USS environment
- Experience using an IDE for mainframe development, such as IBM IDz, BMC Compuware Topaz, or VSCode
- Experience with Git-based source control platforms
- Experience with IBM UrbanCode Deploy
- Experience with Ansible Automation Platform
- Experience with other open-source tools is a plus
- Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies and best practices
- BA or BS or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in customer-facing environments
- Good presentation skills
- Current working knowledge of IBM zEnterprise Hybrid Computing offerings, including zLinux, zCX and IDAA
- DB2 DBA support knowledge for software development
- IBM Certified Specialist - IBM zSeries Technical Version 1 and related industry certifications are preferred
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
