Systems Engineer, IT Operations

Responsibilities

• Support in the operation of corporate clients' IT infrastructures
• Responsible for the smooth and comprehensive operation of the customer systems assigned to you
• Incident resolution, root cause analysis and remediation, and system monitoring
• Maintenance of IT infrastructures
• Development of implementation concepts for change requests
• Taking responsibility for implementing the agreed implementation concepts

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a comparable role
• Broad, well-founded and practical expertise in Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, O365/Office 365 and Microsoft Azure, Citrix XenApp/Desktop, virtualization and storage solutions (ESX, Hyper-V / NetApp, Nimble), backup (Veeam, Backup Exec), and in firewall and network environments (Sophos, Cisco)
• Degree from a higher technical school or equivalent and technical certifications are an advantage
• Strong customer-service orientation and enjoyment of client contact
• Confident and professional demeanour
• Excellent written and verbal German and English skills
• Team-oriented work style
• Ability to develop own solutions
• Strong sense of responsibility and duty
• High resilience and flexibility
• Driver's license, category B
