- Act as a technical advisor to customers and internal teams during high-value implementations and expansion opportunities
- Guide integration, configuration, and system design
- Assess customer requirements and propose scalable solutions involving ERP, HRIS, and API integrations
- Support technical workstreams with onboarding specialists and implementation leads
- Problem‑solve technical hurdles and propose effective product implementations
- Participate in technical discovery and recommend best‑fit Ramp architecture, including API usage
- Serve as a subject matter expert across HRIS and Accounting integration partners
- Troubleshoot integration blockers and guide complex configuration decisions without writing code directly
- Contribute to internal documentation and tooling for integration use cases
- Channel customer pain points and feedback to Product and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
- 2+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer‑facing technical role, ideally in a SaaS or fintech environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion) and finance/accounting workflows
- Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture
- Ability to explain technical concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering
- Exceptional organization and problem‑solving skills
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments
