Responsibilities
- Prepare and plan activities based on the consolidated baseline established with the participating party.
- Define methodological procedures and the composition of technical analyst teams.
- Manage the project’s technical execution by defining and integrating team methodologies in accordance with the established plan.
- Identify any need to add specialists to the teams.
- Review methodologies and indicators whenever necessary.
- Coordinate process coordinators and their teams.
- Review and technically validate reports.
- Conduct internal technical meetings and, when necessary, meetings with the focal points of the relevant environmental licensing authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Civil Engineering, Biology, Geography, Geology, or a related environmental field.
- Advanced knowledge of environmental licensing processes and stages, as well as applicable environmental legislation.
- Experience defining and reviewing methodologies, indicators, targets, and technical deliverables.
- Experience reviewing, validating, and consolidating environmental reports and studies.
- Knowledge of environmental programs, plans, and conditions.
- Experience liaising with environmental and licensing authorities, such as CETESB, IBAMA, and state or municipal agencies, depending on the project.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to conduct technical meetings with clients, teams, and public authorities.
- 5–7 years of experience in Environmental Licensing.
