Responsibilities
Responsible for managing assigned accounts within a defined territory
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the portfolio
Ensure contract renewals and guarantee client satisfaction
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients in the portfolio
Analyze and address clients’ technical, administrative, and financial needs
Prepare commercial proposals and follow up on them
Recommend additional services that drive revenue growth
Present and demonstrate products and services
Work closely with internal teams to achieve objectives
Requirements
Federal VET diploma (CFC) as a commercial clerk or equivalent qualification
Additional training in sales negotiation or key account management is a plus
Minimum 3 to 7 years’ experience in a B2B sales role, account management, or business development
Strong command of the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closing, and retention
Experience in the fire protection sector is an asset
Ability to analyze clients’ technical, administrative, and financial needs
Proficiency in consultative selling and negotiation techniques
Ability to prepare commercial proposals and manage a sales pipeline
Knowledge of commercial indicators: revenue, margin, profitability, forecast, conversion rate
Ability to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Ability to deliver product/service presentations and demonstrations
Good understanding of business priorities and client mapping
Proficiency with office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) and a CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot or equivalent)
