- Contribute to training content and resource development for the field, including Thinkific course modules for technical assistance
- Oversee the cultural orientation curriculum and local facilitation to ensure alignment with program instructions and documentation requirements
- Conduct regular virtual Cultural Orientations for the PIR Network and new arrivals
- Track completion of Cultural Orientation at national and local levels
- Implement training objectives for new caseworker staff lacking similar local training opportunities
- Follow up with new staff to monitor proper training implementation
- Establish objectives and standardize the peer-to-peer shadowing training process
- Coordinate peer-learning opportunities and Community of Practice virtual meetings between offices
- Organize, update, and promote training resources for field staff
- Track training provision, attendance, participant feedback, knowledge acquisition, and evaluations
- Consult with field caseworkers on questions and needs outside PIR Program Officers' specialties
- Plan and help facilitate PIR Network Training meetings and resettlement conferences
- Support PIR monitoring at field offices as needed
- Travel up to 15% as required
- Support other training-related projects and service-line priorities
Requirements
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- Commitment to World Relief's mission, vision, and values
- Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities
- Ability to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief's Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity, and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health Of The Nation document
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and an attentive listener
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Ability to perform research and data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience working in a grant-compliance context
- Domestic travel up to 20%
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Social Work or a related field (preferred)
- At least 3 years' experience in refugee resettlement work (preferred)
- Familiarity with IRIS, Dynamics, SharePoint, and Asana (preferred)
- Overseas and/or cross-cultural experience (preferred)Experience working in Preferred Communities and the PC Gaps/IAR programs or Initial Resettlement (preferred)
