- Deliver direct care in the virtual urgent care and observation unit
- Provide clinical supervision and teaching to a team of advanced practice providers
- Foster a collaborative and supportive clinical environment
- Lead clinical rounds and offer guidance on challenging scenarios
- Deliver urgent care through video telehealth visits and a multidisciplinary team
- Manage patients in the virtual observation unit, including acute-on-chronic disease exacerbations
- Adhere to evidence-based practice and incorporate patient and family priorities
- Provide medication review and deprescribing
- Connect patients with primary care and comprehensive care programs
- Support complex care, behavioral health, chronic disease management and palliative care programs
Requirements
- Board-certified physician
- At least 3 years post-residency experience
- Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine/Urgent Care
- Telehealth experience preferred
- Multi-state licensure preferred or willingness to obtain additional licensure
- Adept at learning and utilizing electronic health data and medical record systems, including video, telephonic and AI platforms
- Experience in acute care settings, including Emergency Department, Urgent Care, hospital medicine or similar settings
- Experience caring for older adults
- Experience with population health or value-based care programs
- Spanish fluency is a plus, though not required
- Full-time, salaried position
- No overnight work required
