Senior Java Software Engineer (m/f/x)

In Licensing, our teams specialize in microservices within their respective domains. These microservices are hosted in the cloud, utilizing Kubernetes for orchestration. Our tech stack primarily includes the latest versions of Java, Kafka, and Jetty, while our tool stack features Jenkins, ArgoCD, Gradle, and Terraform. We store data in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and the Dynatrace data lakehouse, Grail. Through automation, we ensure that all libraries we use are consistently updated to their latest versions. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices for our account, subscription, and usage-tracking platform. Develop crucial functionalitiesto oversee account lifecycle and subscriptions, track and report usage, offer insights into costs and product utilization, and enable control over feature usage. Drive architectural decisions for team-domain projects and initiatives. Collaborate with an Agile team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Mentor and support colleagues, fostering an approachable and supportive environment. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of the software. Boost team productivity by enhancing delivery, collaboration, and communication. Take ownership of your services and features and fully utilize Dynatrace to monitor and optimize your applications. Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience in software development. 5+ yearsof hands-on experience in Java development or a comparable programming language. Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment.
