Offer Description

In the Department of Educational Science with a focus on media education (Faculty 02 - Social Sciences, Media, and Sports) isaposition as a research assistant available as part of the externally funded project "CODA – Mechanisms, Challenges and Development Needs of the ‘Education in the Digital World’ Coordination Initiative", led by Prof. Dr. Ulrike Krein.

  • Contributing to the thematic and organisational implementation of the project
  • Scientific analysis of the research questions addressed in the project, based on theoretical and empirical findings
  • Planning and carrying out empirical data collection and analysis, particularly using qualitative methods
  • Communicating with stakeholders within and outside the school system
  • Documenting the progress of the project and assisting with reporting to the external funding body
  • Preparation and dissemination of project results, particularly for academic journals, symposia and conferences, as well as other project-related dissemination formats
  • A successfully completed scientific university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Educational Science, Social Sciences or a related field
  • Very Good knowledge and practical experience in the field of qualitative and interpretative social research
  • Experience collaborating on scientific research projects or externally funded projects
  • Experience working with school staff or practitioners in the education sector is an advantage
  • Excellent skills in structured academic work, as well as a high degree of organisational ability and independence
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills

In addition to the general requirements according to public services law, applicants must meet the recruitment requirements stipulated in § 57 of the Hochschulgesetz of Rhineland-Palatinate.

The position is paid according to EG 13 TV-L and is to be filled immediately . The position is temporary for a fixed term until 03/31/2028.
