h3Overview /h3 /brpWe are seeking a Electrical Lead to join our Life Science team in Schaffhausen, the ideal candidate will have experience on large-scale Pharmaceutical. /p /brpThe Electrical Lead will report to the Project Director and working in close partnership with the MEP Lead and Engineering Management team, the Electrical Lead is responsible for the overall delivery of electrical systems on life sciences and technology projects. /p /brpThe role provides technical and managerial leadership, ensuring that all electrical works are designed, installed, tested and commissioned to the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance. The Electrical Lead ensures project objectives for programme, budget and regulatory requirements are met, while driving collaboration between engineering, construction, commissioning and client teams. /p /brpJohn Sisk Son have been building excellence as a family-owned international construction company by offering trust, certainty and value to our clients whilst being at the heart of change. /p /br /brh3Responsibilities /h3 /br /brh3Leadership and Delivery /h3 /brul /brliLead the electrical team and oversee delivery of all electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, UPS, generators, lighting, fire alarms and life safety systems /li /brliEnsure all electrical works meet programme, cost and quality objectives /li /brliProvide technical guidance to engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure effective delivery /li /brliDevelop and implement strategies for electrical execution, resource allocation and planning /li /br /ul /br /brh3Technical and Compliance Oversight /h3 /brul /brliReview and approve electrical design documents, technical submittals and material selections /li /brliEnsure compliance with project specifications, industry standards and regulations (e.g. IEC, BS, IEEE, NFPA) /li /brliOversee FATs, SATs, commissioning and integrated system testing (IST) for electrical scope /li /brliSupport validation and handover processes with accurate documentation and system certification /li /br /ul /br /brh3Quality, Safety and Risk Management /h3 /brul /brliDrive health, safety and environmental compliance across all electrical works /li /brliImplement and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures for electrical systems /li /brliIdentify risks, propose mitigation strategies and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner /li /br /ul /br /brh3Stakeholder and Team Coordination /h3 /brul /brliAct as the primary point of contact for electrical scope with clients, consultants and regulatory bodies /li /brliCoordinate electrical works with mechanical, process, instrumentation and BMS teams to ensure project integration /li /brliLead electrical coordination meetings and provide accurate reporting on progress, risks and opportunities to project leadership /li /br /ul /br /brh3Essential /h3 /br /brh3Experience /h3 /brul /brliStrong technical expertise in electrical systems including LV/MV distribution, critical power systems and life safety systems /li /brliProven leadership experience on large-scale Pharmaceutical construction or engineering projects /li /brliExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex workloads /li /brliStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of delivery /li /brliKnowledge of health, safety and environmental requirements for electrical works /li /br /ul /br /brh3Desirable /h3 /brul /brliExperience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, data centre or advanced technology projects /li /brliKnowledge of commissioning and integrated system testing (IST) in regulated environments /li /brliFamiliarity with BIM and digital project delivery tools /li /brliCommercial awareness including contract administration and cost contro l /li /br /ul /br /brh3Qualifications /h3 /br /brh3Essential /h3 /brul /brliDegree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent technical qualification /li /brliDemonstrated experience in leading electrical delivery on Tier 1 construction or engineering projects /li /brliRelevant health and safety training (e.g. Safe Pass, CSCS or equivalent) /li /br /ul /br /brh3Desirable /h3 /brul /brliChartered Engineer status or working towards professional membership (e.g. Engineers Ireland, IET, CIBSE) /li /brliPostgraduate qualification in project management or construction management /li /brliVendor-specific training or certification in switchgear, UPS, or critical power systems /li /brliTraining in GMP, cleanroom or other regulatory compliance relevant to life sciences and technology sectors /li /br /ul /br /brh3Additional Information /h3 /brul /brliompetitive salary /li /brli26 days annual leave /li /brliPension and benefits /li /brliUnlimited learning and development opportunities /li /brliMuch more /li /br /ul /br /brh3Our People and Recruitment Commitment /h3 /brpAt Sisk Group our people are at the heart of our success.
