Job Description: Key responsibilities
- Records Governance & Compliance Implement and maintain RIM processes aligned with enterprise standards and global WWRIM policies (e.g., retention schedules, legal hold, classification) Ensure compliant archiving, retrieval, and disposition of records Contribute to RIM activities related to outsourcing, divestitures, and site transitions
- Data & Repository Management Maintain and optimize records management systems to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and usability Oversee classification, metadata quality, and lifecycle management of records Manage the relationship with the external storage company and coordinate physical archiving, vendor interactions, and retrieval processes
- Stakeholder Support & Training Act as a key point of contact for RIM-related topics across the organization Support and train Record Coordinators and business stakeholders on RIM policies and tools Build and maintain a strong network of RIM coordinators across functions
- Legal Hold & Risk Mitigation Ensure the correct application of retention schedules and legal hold requirements on records Implement record destruction processes in line with policies and required approvals Identify and mitigate risks related to information governance and data handling
- Digitalization & Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline and digitize RIM processes Support or lead initiatives for digital record transition and automation Explore emerging technologies (e.g., AI, data analytics) to enhance RIM efficiency and insight generation
