(Sr.) Medical Science Liaison (m/w/d) Portfolio Hämatologie
Region: Süd Bayern / Baden-Württemberg.
Employment: Full-time or part-time (80%) in a flexible working model.
Responsibilities
- Act as a scientific expert, implementing Medical Affairs product plans in assigned region.
- Engage in proactive and reactive scientific exchange with external experts, communicating product data, discussing clinical trial programs, and providing scientific information on products and indications.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in hematology pathophysiology, diagnostics, and systemic therapies.
- Plan and conduct pipeline and strategy meetings, including university hospital formats, ensuring close integration of regional insights with overarching medical strategy.
- Acquire strategic understanding of therapeutic pathways and drive identification of key questions, data gaps, and medical needs to support patient outcome solutions.
- Support development and implementation of medical strategy.
- Cooperate with Global Clinical Operations to identify study sites, build sustainable partnerships, and support design, planning, and execution of interventional and non-interventional studies.
- Initiate and support complex clinical studies and academic initiatives, including site selection, investigator engagement, and site reviews.
- Collaborate with study sites, manage CAR‑T cases (e.g., OOS situations), and establish long‑term medical collaborations.
- Identify need for regional and national medical education activities and plan their execution.
- Represent the company at national and international conferences, investigator meetings, and medical education events; organize advisory board meetings.
- Build and maintain a key opinion leader network, engage in professional societies, and develop rising stars.
- Prepare and synthesize medical information from literature, considering regional and external needs and strategy.
Qualifications
- Completed medical, natural science, or pharmacy degree, preferably with a PhD.
- Extensive scientific experience in a human medical clinical context.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant MSL experience in hematology, including KOL networking, regional medical initiatives, and collaboration with clinical trial sites.
- Leadership experience (laterally).
- Strong project‑management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Agile mindset and ability to quickly adapt to new topics, structures, and scientific developments.
- Proficient in German and English.
