Overview
As External Supply Planner, you will bridge internal Innovative Medicine demand with external manufacturing to secure reliable supply. You’ll define and refine global material plans, balancing efficiency, costs, and risk while aligning with strategic goals. You’ll shape responses to supply disruptions and drive improvements across planning processes. This role offers impact through ensuring timely deliveries and continuous supply for patients, within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and maintain balanced supply plans across internal and external sites
- Execute SAP transactions (POs, master data) to ensure accurate MRP/ERP outputs
- Identify and manage supply risks and coordinate short- and long-term planning
- Control inventory and SLOB to maintain target stock across DCs, external sites, and CMOs
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement, IMTs, and supply chain process enhancements
- Collaborate with E2E Planning, Finance, Procurement, QA/QC, PES, Inventory Management, IT, and external suppliers
- Communicate forecasts, priorities, and event plans to align capacity and service levels
- Support S&OP, new product launches, performance reporting, and digital transformation initiatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; focus in Supply Chain or Business preferred
- APICS and/or Lean Certification is an advantage
- At least four years' experience in Supply Chain Planning, Operations, or related field
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate across organizational boundaries
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English, strong communication with stakeholders with minimal coaching
