Job Description
DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an International D&A and Master Data Specialist. This hybrid position will be in Leeds, UK, with alternate hybrid locations in Umkirch, Germany or Zug, Switzerland.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and integrity of master data across multiple platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and implement data management strategies that comply with data protection regulations, including GDPR, while addressing internal business needs.
- Identify opportunities for data process enhancements and lead initiatives to implement solutions, including new consent collection approaches and system integrations.
- Utilize tools such as Power BI and Excel to create analytical reports and dashboards that provide insights into key performance metrics and drive business decision‑making.
- Participate in the implementation of new Master Data Management (MDM) systems, supporting testing, training, and data preparation activities for system migrations and integrations.
- Work closely with various departments to facilitate data alignment and accuracy, ensuring all teams have access to reliable master data for operational efficiency.
- Help establish and implement programs and innovative initiatives for the Data Governance & Master Data area, under general supervision.
- Contribute to components of projects, programs, or processes for the Data Governance & Master Data area.
- Develop control structures to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels.
- Support maintenance of commercial customer content, business glossary, data integration, data lineage, and data management activities.
- Ensure processes for data asset management, data quality, and issue resolution align with business needs and ensure clean and healthy data.
- Understand and apply Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day‑to‑day interactions with the team.
Requirements

Base Pay and Benefits
Anticipated base pay range for this position is: €62,500.00 – €97,865.00.
In addition to base pay, we offer: an annual bonus with a set target (percentage of pay) based on previous calendar year performance or sales commissions; vacation days; parental leave for a minimum of 12 weeks; bereavement leave; caregiver leave; volunteer leave; well‑being reimbursement; programs for financial, physical, and mental health; service anniversary and recognition awards; and participation in several insurance plans.
