Job Description

MedTech Surgery, Inc, a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies, is recruiting a Director PMO Supply Chain MTST role. Remote work options may be considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the Company. MedTech Surgery is conducting a transformation program called Hit Next. This role will be part of the Supply Chain PMO office supporting and coordinating all supply chain and network aspects of this transformation program.

Key Responsibilities

The Director PMO Supply Chain MTST will drive development and execution of the determined programs. They will strategize, manage data, and reporting practices to ensure programs within the platforms remain on track. They will investigate, highlight, and mitigate interdependencies – ensuring on time and in budget delivery.

Tactical Responsibilities Include

  • Provide oversight and orchestration (PMO) of the portfolio of Supply Chain projects as part of project Hit Next (Medtech Surgery Transformation program) in order to optimally deliver business results through Portfolio, Network, and Cost Optimization.
  • Ensure alignment with MD Supply Chain Transformation Program, ensuring overall business commitments achieved, not only those directly impacting Supply Chain.
  • Demonstrate strong eye for business in assessing challenges and opportunities and setting strategic direction whilst maintaining clear focus on execution.
  • Work closely with MD Supply Chain Transformation Team, Global Commercial Marketing, R&D, Communications, HR and others to ensure effective and compliant organizational change and alignment across all workstreams.
  • Partner closely with EM&E, WCH and Biosurgery E2E Supply Chain organization to implement globally, at multiple sites, while ensuring no disruption to ongoing base business operations.
  • Provide program management, technical, and financial mentorship to platform DRI’s and execution teams. Set targets and hold teams accountable to achieving results.
  • Be fully accountable to ensure all projects and workstreams are timely and on budget by deploying robust governance, process controls, metrics, and communications.
  • Partner closely with finance on forecasting, forecast attainment and tracking, and financial tradeoffs where vital.
  • Mentor and develop direct and indirect team members to ensure success and career development.
  • Regularly report and interact with Senior Leaders in multiple functions, including reporting to TOC, SCLT and other such forums. Delegate, when required, for Hit Next SC Lead.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Engineering, Science or related area of study preferred. Advanced degree such as an MS or MBA preferred.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Experience in a business or technical role within the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to adopt financial goals and use customer-focused decision making.
  • Ability to lead teams successfully and drive alignment in a global environment.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Project Management Mastery.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in an international setting.
  • Experience in building business strategies and driving strategy implementation.
  • Proven ability to manage data with respect to project management of financial management.
  • Credibility in presenting to senior leadership.

Preferred

  • Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and/or Biologics experience.
  • People management experience.
  • Six Sigma/Process Excellence and/or Project Management/PMP/FPX certification.
  • Financial analytical experience.

Other

  • This position may require up to 20% domestic and/or international travel.
  • This is a duration-based position with an anticipated end date on or around December 2026.
  • Eligible for severance.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

$146,000 – $251,850/yr.

Additional Description For Pay Transparency

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
